Depositor

Deposit Workflow

CU-Med Biobank collaborates closely with researchers in depositing samples to facilitate clinical research. As an initial step, you may discuss with our Operation Team to determine the specific sample types to be collected, the desired timepoint and the quantity of samples. Once mutual agreement is reached, you may submit the sample deposit application form.

The application undergoes a thorough evaluation by the CU-Med Biobank Executive Committee. This evaluation encompasses various criteria, including the type and quantity of samples, scientific merit, and the welfare of the donors. The application result will be informed in due course.

Upon approval of the deposit application, you are required to obtain and submit signed CU-Med Biobank’s broad consent prior to sample acquisition.

The deposit team assumes responsibility for delivering the collected samples and associated data; CU-Med Biobank is responsible to process and securely store the clinical samples.
